All you King Crimson fans will be drooling over this site- there are a bewildering variety of live KC bootlegs available for download.

There's also some early Floyd- including what appears to be a recording of them playing with Zappa in 1969, some Gabriel-era Genesis, and some other things it would be impolite to mention by name, even in the Prog Forum.

Caveat - I presume a lot of things uploaded there started life as audience recordings- I haven't downloaded anything from this site and can't vouch for the quality of the recordings- if anyone comes across anything particularly good (or bad), let us all know.

Any ideas about the quality of the early Pink Floyd downloads?

I managed to get one of them - Meddler - which is from a BBC radio broadcast so the sound quality is pretty good. I like this period Floyd so I'm happy about the quality of the music too.

The other attempts inform me File Not Found but that might be a glitch with my setup, which is pretty bad because I'm so far away from the telephone exchange - right on the edge of broadband availability. I'm going to keep trying though.

The one with Zappa looks quite interseting from the comments left - one track each frome several groups including Caravan, another of my faves - all with FZ on guitar apparently.

Uriah Heep though...

I also got one disc (disc 2) of one of the King Crimson boots and the quality seems pretty good
