faust

since my first encounter with the actual faust record, faust clear polydor, stems from a fleamarket buy some 5 years ago only, my copy is scratched in places ...
i remember the topic of this russian lilith re-release occuring a couple of months ago on the list, but could anybody fill me in on the final score?
is this a legit re-issue? or do the russians trick us still?

I think it's technically a boot, or at least JHP didn't know about it. I know that he said he's contacted them asking for a box of copies....

Funny:
I just saw 1 copy in the record-shop in Reggio. Looks nice but can't see really the interest if not "remastered" (Ah, the famous "remastered new version", I know , I should'nt be so naive ... ;)
I thik that it is written "under license from Recommended records" on the back of the cd. ...
Nice object anyway.

Oh I wrote something wrong before and I add some more by the way:
I bought it today (the lilith copy) as saw that I (maybe) lost my 'storical' clear copy (the first cd rerelease from japan.... empty box) during my last removals
(from may 07 leaving in removal time...)
The Lilith is not announced as released under Rèr license but under "polygram Russia" with the sentence 'copyright recommended records' or something like which is (to me or my ignorance) quite strange.
It s not the first time I see something like that (but can t remember the others).
makes me think about the old Germanofon fact. Will open now a topic about this... [ Krautrock rereleases ]

O

ps. the cd says " http://www.lilith-records.com/ "
BUT my computer and google say Do not open it because of 'possible damage for you'.. so I did ;)
and i arrived on a pink page with numbers... maybe I miss a software to read 'cyrillique' language?..

ps2. I know that this (Lilith rerelease) has been discussed on the STORICAL faust-list before but wasn t able to follow it as I would have like....

I also can never resist a warning of "possible damage for you" (hence my alcohol consumption) so tried the site as well, but got the same pink page. I have no problem reading cyrilic normally, so I don't think that's the problem.
