The power drill segment, especially since it is immediately followed by a synth that imitates the sound of the drill and then brings it 'elsewhere' is one of the most purely absurd moments in faust history imho, and the one that never fails in making me laugh out loud - with pleasure!

adriano - surely you are missing the point. the drill segment of The Faust Tapes is all well and good - but there's no getting away from the sheer horror involved when you wife repeats what your mother used to say....;-)
