Havent read his blogs yet but I think I'm going to order his disc. I wasnt really sure where to post this, progrock or this group...in the end I put him in here. From one listen to the songs on the myspace page, his music seems to be very unmelodic...seems more about the sounds and the organization of them then actually adhearing to trad harmonic theory...although I'm sure there is that too but I'm not really that qualified to do an analysis.
I really like all the little details that are seemingly placed in a continuous arc thoughout the duration of each song. It's like, there are several things going on at once but I'm only able to pick one or two things out at a time...I suspect after another listen I'll hear something completely new.
Anyway...good stuff
